In this post, Iman is trying to say that she's a little tired of the music because she hears it just about everywhere and alludes to the idea that maybe she feels a little left out since she doesn't celebrate it. I didn't mean to offend Christians. :) I have friends who have suggested I listen to some of their favorite Christmas songs and I respect them.

Thanks for reading!
Dreamer :DDreamerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13188419543996298738noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4758854528837525903.post-51623252230433244672011-01-08T12:54:55.090-06:002011-01-08T12:54:55.090-06:00Well, yeah...America is kind of a Christian countr...Well, yeah...America is kind of a Christian country...so the music is bound to center around Christmas-y things...not sure if you're talking about the fact that the music is Christian related in a Christian-based country(that would be like me complaining about hearing music celebrating Islamic festivals in Jordan...or course, that's a part of their culture!), or that you just are sick of Christmas music in general. I understand about the bad Christmas music part, but there are some really great Christmas songs out there! :) I wish I could listen to Christmas music all year! :D I think we should respect the culture we decide to live in, especially when afforded with the privileges living in a free country like America offers. I love it. I hate when this time of year comes around! But I got really lucky this past Christmas, I was visiting family in Amman, Jordan and it was my first time being in the Middle East during Christmas. It was so nice to be able to go to places without them being closed, and it was so nice to be around Muslims :) I usually visit Jordan every summer, so I'm going to be there for the first week of Ramadan and I'm so excited. I hope one day you'll get to spend Ramadan or Eid over there! xoxoAyahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09152056405280594183noreply@blogger.com
